I'm so proud of myself for finally purchasing something online like modern people do. I ordered two get started kits from bare minerals for me and my sis last week and was all happy happy joy joy when I got a notice from the post office that they had received my delivery from the UK!

On the other hand it's easy to shop this way, but boy did I become frustrated standing in the queue at the post office. It's easy to find time for window shopping and stopping by in shops since I get to voluntarily spend my time there. But waiting for my turn to get the delivery.. oh my. I was already late for a meeting with my friends from the Mannheim exchange and of course wearing things that were too warm for a sunny (!!) fall day - a thick jacket and a woolen scarf. Bahh. I bet I looked like an anxious little brat when I was standing there :D

Anyway, I got the package and now I'm practicing with my new toys ;) I can't say that I was astonished of the result after trying on the mineral make-up for the first time, but it sure feels lighter and looks more natural on me than any other make-up. I guess I still need some practice, but so far I'm happy with the purchase!

ReplyDeleteTajusin just et tosta kuvasta puuttuu primer kokonaan! Siellä oli siis sellanen pikkutuubi sitä vielä lisäksi. En ekalla kerralla oikein uskaltanu hirveesti ottaa sitä jauhetta niin meikistä tuli tosi kevyt, mut itseasiassa nyt kun vähän tietää et miten homma toimii niin lopputulos on ollu kiva! :) Siinä pakkauksessa on mukana ohje-DVD niin ei pitäis mennä sormi suuhun ;)
ReplyDeleteNice! I have been hearing about mineral make-up a lot lately. I've been doing research on the best powder.. and they area always recommending mineral powder saying it's lighter and better for the skin. I haven't tried it yet :)
ReplyDeleteI've had the new kit for a week now and I got some practice so I think I know the tricks by now. I like it how light the make-up feels and it lets the skin breathe. It looks fresh and natural and I haven't used any concealers anymore. I can see some improvement on my skin's condition already but I did get some medication when I had the appointment with the dermatologist. Maybe it's a mutual positive effect? :) Anyway, I really do recommend you to try these. I'm sure you'll fall in love. The reason that I chose BareMinerals was the easiness - there's everything that you need in the get started kit and the price was decent too.
ReplyDeleteHmm, I also don't wear concealer and it is such a nice feeling! I've been looking for the perfect powder for weeks now and I think I finally found it - I will post about that :)

ReplyDeleteMä kokeilin mineraalimeikkejä eilen ekaa kertaa. Vähän täytyy vielä harjotella mutta vaikuttaa hyviltä, niillä saa tehtyä luonnollisen ja kevyen meikkipohjan. Että kiitoksia vaan vinkistä ;)

aevan ehana oot ku odottelet mun hömpötyksiä :)) Ja hyvä että toimivat sullakin! Mun mielestä bm:lla on kans ihan normipuutereita, siis sellasia puristepuutereita, ni pohdiskelen tässä vähän et pitäiskö tilata sellanen. Vois olla helppo kantaa mukana ja lisätä pitkin päivää jos on tarve. Hmmh.
