Christmas presents are not a stupid expense, I meant something else, like always taking taxis after a night out :P But I thought it might actually be nice to get a self-made present for a change. ...And I wouldn't have to buy that many things.
I was visiting my grandmom the other weekend and found this needle that you can crochet with (I google translated this, so I'm not sure whether it makes sense or not. But L, I think you know what I mean). I don't know why, but I think it's fun and I'm quite fast in this too :D So I decided to make a pair of mittens for I. Haha, I know, I know, it's silly but he asked me to! I don't have any instructions on how to make them but I just started from the tip of the fingers and got the pair finished in one night while watching TV with my grand mom :))
Here it is, ugly - but made with love :D I'm going to decorate them somehow but I just don't know what to do yet :P

Haha since I'm broke as well, I have the exact same idea for J! But I was thinking of socks and mom already told me it's a mission impossible for my level of skills.. :D But if you made those in one night (?!?!) I still have some hope! - Lartsa
ReplyDeleteOne warning though, you'd have to KNIT the socks and for me that's nerve breaking and takes ages!! I get so frustrated when I have to knit something! :D You have dozens of knots and if one of them falls off, the whole thing gets ruined. It's so difficult! I'd suggest starting e.g. with a knitted celly pocket with hearts and your names in it L <3 J - it won't be easy either, but cute and doable :D Hehe, I think your mom's right :D

I'm desperately in need of help when it comes to getting him something for christmas!!!! you know my previous gift (do i need to remind you; pair of socks in wrong size) wasn't really a success.. :D
